Is there anyone who would check the Chaves County, New Mexico marriage records for 1927-1928 for Robert or Leslie GILBREATH and Lola Mae LLOYD?

Thanks so much for the help.

76 RANCH Submitter: David Minton mailto:DLMinton51@aol.com

Date: 19 January 2004

I am trying to find out who had the 76 Ranch in 1913, and where it was located. I think it was in the Knowles area north of Hobbs, but I'm not sure.

Lea County wasn't formed in 1913, so the ranch could have been in either Chaves or Eddy County.

Thanks for any information you can provide.

WILLIAMSON Submitter: W. Williamson BrowningBigFifty@msn.com
I am searching for information on   Peter H. WILLIAMSON, who  worked in Roswell in a Saloon sometime between 1900 and 1920, and who possibly married in the area and had family there.

GADD/BROWNLEE Submitter: Lorin Birch
lorin.birch@spectra-physics.com
In 1914 or 1915, my great grandparents, John Thomas GADD and Susie Marie BROWNLEE, moved from Union Co., MS to live near Roswell. Susie Marie's sister was Donnie Lee BROWNLEE. She was married to Oscar CRAWFORD. The Crawfords also lived in Roswell.

John and Marie GADD had a daughter, Hazel Herstine, born February 14, 1915. John Thomas died August 7, 1916, and Hazel died December 6, 1916. Marie gave birth to my grandfather, John Lorin GADD on December 23, 1916, not quite three weeks after Hazel died and four months after John Thomas died.

Marie moved in with her sister and brother-in-law and are recorded on the 1920 census in Roswell. By 1930 Marie had remarried to a man named James M. GREENE. The family is also in Roswell in 1930.

I would appreciate any information on the GADD family in Roswell, especially where they lived, and where John Thomas and Hazel might be buried.

I am also interested in what caused the movement of many families to the Roswell area in the early part of the 1900s.

ERVIN Submitter: Glenn Davis glenn.l.davis@worldnet.att.net
I am looking for any information on  Andrew Jackson. ERVIN who lived in Chaves County in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Thanks.

BRADLEY Submitter: Emory Reese ereese@charter.net
Robert L. BRADLEY, a physician, was born in 1867, and died after 1930. He lived in Roswell from about 1900 until after 1930. His son, Palmer BRADLEY, was a prominent Houston attorney born in 1894 and died in 1968.

Dr. Bradley's first wife was Mary BOXLEY.

I am interested in his wife listed in the 1930 Chaves County census. Her name appears to be "Annie" or perhaps "Minnie", born in Mississippi. What was her maiden name and where was she from?

Thank you.

 ROBERTS  Submitter: Lori lpc121@bellsouth.net
I am looking for marriage records of my grandparents and any census records that would apply.

Clarence ROBERTS married Annie Lorene PERKINS somewhere around 1920-1922. I believe they were married in Roswell as this is where they lived during their marriage. My grandmother passed away there and I was born there at St. Mary's.

The 1930 census records indicate that Clarence R. ROBERTS was born in Kansas, and his wife Lorene was born in Texas.

Clarence ROBERTS's parents were enumerated right after him and his family: William B. ROBERTS, age 76, born in Virginia. His father was born in West Virginia, his mother in the U.S. William's wife Laura, age 70, was born in Missouri. Her mother was born in Georgia' her father was born in Missouri.

Any information you can share with me will be appreciated.

I am seeking any information on Dottie Vernon WILLIS who was in Roswell from 1957-1962. It is unknown where she went from there--possibly to Roosevelt County or Lea County.

Dottie was born about 1921. Any help appreciated.
